Kate O’Connor graduated with a BA in English from Stanford University, California, and is now pursuing an MSt in Engish Literature 1550-1700 at Oxford. During her year as an exchange student at Oxford she wrote and performed The
Musgrave Ritual in Cuppers '09, performed in Ruddigore (O’Reilly Theatre, HT’10) as 'Mad Margaret', stage managed Tom
Stoppard's The Invention of Love
(Oxford Playhouse, HT’10) and co-directed Translations (O'Reilly Theatre - May 2010). At Stanford she was the publicity manager for the Stanford Savoyards and acted in a variety of productions. In the summer of 2011 she worked as the Literary Intern for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon. In 3rd week of Hilary '12 she played 'Viola' in Twelfth Night at the Keble O'Reilly Theatre, and in 2nd week of Trinity '12 she will be directing The Two Gentlemen of Verona in Christ Church Cathedral Gardens.
Mark Heath
Mark is a third-year studying Modern Languages at Magdalen College, University of Oxford. His background before Oxford is in production and as a technician, acting as Assistant MD for several musicals before taking the helm as MD for the first ever UK school-edition production of RENT. He has worked on amateur productions of Sweeney Todd, Les Misérables,South Pacific, and The Hired Man. Production work at Oxford includes; Pandaemonium, The Musgrave Ritual (BT Cuppers 2009),The Invention of Love (Oxford Playhouse - 2010); Producer for the critically-acclaimed, sell-out production of Translations (O'Reilly Theatre - 2010) and Assistant Producer for the record-breaking production of A Streetcar Named Desire (Oxford Playhouse - 2010), Production Manager for the sell out Keble O'Reilly production of Spring Awakening, Producer for the OUDS New Writing Festival 2011 (BT - 2011), Producer of the Barbarian Productions/Magdalen Players joint production of Troilus and Cressida (O'Reilly Theatre - 2011), Executive Producer for Mona and Bea (BT - May 2011), Executive Producer for Pygmalion, the 2011 Annual Magdalen College Garden Show and Producer for Call of the Wild (Oxford Playhouse - May 2011). He was also the 2010/11 treasurer to the Magdalen College Drama Society (The Magdalen Players) and a standing member of the OUDS committee of 2010/11.
Michael Galvin
Michael is a third year reading Philosophy and Psychology at Magdalen College, University of Oxford. Production Credits at Oxford include; DSM for an adaptation of The Magic Toyshop (Oxford Playhouse - Hilary 2010) Co-Director and Nigel in an adaptation of The Musgrave Ritual(Cuppers '09), Production Manager of a critically acclaimed production of Brian Friel's Translations (O'Reilly - Trinity 2010), Assistant Producer & Production Manager for the sell out, National Student Drama Festival shortlisted, 2010 OUDS UK Summer Tour of Mikhail Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita, which performed in Oxford (Modern Art Oxford), London (BAC) and Edinburgh (C Venues), Producer for She Was Yellow (BT - TT'11) and Executive Producer for Pygmalion, the 2011 Annual Magdalen College Garden Show, which played to sell out audiences every night. He was the Producer for Clytemnestra - The Oxford Greek Play 2011 (Oxford Playhouse - MT'11). He was also the 2010/11 Secretary to the Magdalen College Drama Society (The Magdalen Players). Before coming to Oxford, he worked on numerous productions in the state of the art QEII Performing Arts Centre in London.
Tim Kiely
Tim is a third-year English student at St. John's College, University of Oxford. In Oxford, he has performed in Equus, Just Two People, Peer Gynt (as 'Peer Gynt'),The White Rose and the Barbarians' production of Troilus and Cressida (O'Reilly Theatre, HT'11). He co-directed and starred in Translations (O'Reilly Theatre, TT'10), directed The Dumb Waiter (HT'11) and his most recent work includes directing his own play, Mona and Bea, at the Burton Taylor Studio (TT'11). Wtih the St. John's Mummers, he has also performed in Stoning Mary, Love's Labour's Lost, and After the Dance, as well as joining them (as 'Awful Pie Theatre') in a critically acclaimed devised performance of Ubu at the 2010 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He is also a standing member of the OUDS committee.
